We are “never too old to learn”, so why does it seem so “hard to teach an old dog new tricks”?
One of my favorite authors is John Maxwell, and his book “The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth” has challenged me in so many different ways. Mr. Maxwell’s first law of growth is:
The Law of Intentionality – “growth doesn’t just happen”
When applying this law to my professional life, I find myself trying to become more intentional in 3 areas: (1) increasing my learning; (2) focusing on the important; and (3) helping others solve problems. But I so often fail at all 3 of these! Being intentional is so difficult to do consistently.
What obstacles in life do you stumble over that keep you from growing?
